Given the choice, most of us would prefer to stay in the familiar surroundings of our own homes, however, when faced with having to decide which type of care would be the most beneficial to meet the needs of our loved ones, we tend to automatically think that care homes are the best, or only option.
There’s actually overwhelming evidence that the constant person-centred one to one support of a live-in carer produces a far better experience for the vast majority of people, and provides them with improved health, happiness and well-being.
JRH Support live-in care enables people to age in their own home and be cared for around the clock by a dedicated carer. With a spare room in the property, the carer is able to “live in” and offer companionship and care and give real peace of mind and added quality of life.
Live-in care offers people the stability and normality of living in the comfort of their own home whilst also ensuring that they have the care and support that they would receive in a residential or nursing care home.
JRH Support are a friendly, family owned company and have been providing care and support to people in Nottingham since 2003.
Family is really important to us, and we fully understand how worrying it can be to find the right kind of support for our loved ones when the time comes. That’s why we ensure the care we provide is always the same standard that we would expect for our own family.
Whatever you need, whether it’s support for just a couple of hours a week or for 24 hours a day, we can always help.
Live in Care A live-in carer will move into your home (you’ll need to have a spare bedroom) to take care of the tasks that you are unable to do, or need assistance with. This includes cooking meals, running errands, completing household chores and supporting you with personal care. Personal care includes washing and dressing, shaving, and showering.
Care at Home A visiting support worker is a practical and preferable alternative to residential care for most people, helping them to retain independence at home and maintain their quality of life.
Outreach Support Our Outreach service supports people at home and in the community, and offers a broad spectrum of flexible and personalised practical support to people that enables them to live as independently as possible, access community based opportunities, develop their confidence and skills and reach their full potential.
Supported Living Supported living is where a person is supported in a property owned either by a private landlord or housing association. Supported living is an alternative to the more traditional residential care model of support. The person has their own support staff, and the level of support will vary depending on their individual needs.
